Privacy Policy

This draft Privacy Policy explains what information Docly collects, how we use it, and the choices available to teams using the product.

Information We Collect

We collect account information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, workspace details, and profile settings. We also store content your team uploads or creates in Docly, including documents, notes, chats, and workspace configuration.

How We Use Information

We use this information to operate the service, authenticate users, retrieve grounded answers, support billing and account management, improve reliability, and respond to support or security issues.

Workspace Content and Access

Workspace content is intended to stay scoped to the workspace where it was uploaded or authored. Access to documents, knowledge notes, and conversations is controlled by workspace membership and role permissions.

Sharing with Service Providers

We may share limited information with infrastructure, authentication, email, messaging, billing, and analytics providers when needed to run Docly. Those providers are expected to handle the data only for the services they perform on our behalf.

Data Retention

We retain account and workspace information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Teams may request deletion of workspace data subject to operational and legal constraints.

Contact

If you have privacy questions about this draft policy or the handling of your data, contact the Docly team before relying on the service for regulated or high-risk workflows.
